• 5 rounds of Swiss (11-Man Ballot) 1 1/4 hour per rounds - 2 game rounds - 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.

• A get well card was signed by all players wishing Mike Garvey recovery from 30 days in ICU at Pinehurst.

• No cash prize or enter fees, other than $1.00 per head to YMCA for the use of their facility.
• Burlington Club provided soft-drink, water, coffee, muffins, cookies, etc.
• Tim Laverty served as scorekeeper and referee.
• Everyone enjoyed good fellowship, playing checkers, and the excitement & change 11-Man brings to the game.
• 2009 WCDF Ratings.
• Big Thank You goes to John Harris, and YMCA Staff for providing their facility.
